Our story so far…

July 2008

The journey begins. Two best friends, Daniel Wheway and Byron Benton decide that customers deserved an improved, revolutionary service that the office supplies market wasn’t currently offering. Acting as personal account managers for both local schools and businesses alike, they started off selling printing supplies such as toners. Little did they know the business would soon expand in terms of their staff and product variety, leading to where we currently are today!

November 2009

PWD supplies introduce printers range in their current product portfolio.  In addition to the new range, Dan and Byron decided to move to a warehouse unit at Rumer Hill, Cannock, to provide more storage for the stock and successfully integrated printers as well as printer supplies into their system.


The beginning of 2010 saw current sales executive Alex Bill (above) being bought into the company to facilitate the growth in demand at PWD Supplies. The quantity of toners sold not only increased but we also added a range of compatible and remanufactured toners to our catalogue, focusing on providing customers with cheaper alternatives with the same capabilities as originals!

June 2010

We also transferred to a bigger office space at Dunston Business Village, Penkridge, to provide opportunity to increase our team of sales executives. We later decided to bring on Jon Guy and Alexina Benton to our team mainly to manage and increase knowledge in the office supplies market. This enabled us to further match the needs of our customer base, segmenting the market through differentiating business and school needs.

July 2012

We move to an even larger office, now 8 strong in our team. We have started to become more recognisable for selling printers and toners, expanding the business to cater towards not only the West Midlands area but also to the rest of the UK.


Since 2012 there has been progression year on year, with us bolting on office stationery followed by furniture for schools in 2014 and finally IT equipment such as state of the art laptops and hardware. Our team have not only been trained fully to understand the variety of different IT products available, but have also established strong relationships with our existing clients. Our client base trusts us to deliver stock on their behalf, scheduling regular payment dates and providing them with the supplies such as toners as part of our next day delivery service.


We now own an office space in Falcon Point, Cannock and have 17 members of staff on board with a variety of different departments to further adapt to customer needs; including marketing, IT sales, printer sales, and a HR department. We focus on providing businesses and schools alike ‘quality products with a quality service’, and we plan to expand PWD Supplies further to become a recognised brand across the UK.
